Hannah McLoughlin won the EY Champions Trophy with Loreto and made her senior international debut in 2018 at the age of 18.
A defender and penalty corner specialist, she played in the women's hockey tournament at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where Ireland finished tenth.
The postponement of the Tokyo Games by a year gave her time to develop into a key figure in the squad. McLoughlin began her hockey career with Avoca in Blackrock before moving to Loreto. She is from Dublin.
