Naomi Carroll

Naomi Carroll made her senior Ireland debut in 2012 having only taken up hockey at 14, and was a regular in the squad through 2017.

A versatile forward, she played in the women's hockey tournament at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where Ireland finished tenth.

Carroll returned to the squad after a cruciate ligament injury sustained playing ladies football for Clare in 2018. She is from Cratloe, County Clare.
