BIOGRAPHY

Sarah McAuley was called into the Ireland squad for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games as a reserve because of injuries in the panel, earned a place in the main squad and played in five matches. Ireland finished tenth.

McAuley began her hockey career with Avoca Hockey Club and also excelled at tennis and Gaelic football in her youth. She studied at University College Dublin and plays for Muckross Hockey Club. She is from Blackrock, County Dublin.
