BIOGRAPHY
Anabelle McCarthy Zurbay competes in slalom and giant slalom. Based in Vail, Colorado, she represents Ireland through her grandmother, Rosaleen McCarthy Miskella, who is from Rosemount, County Westmeath. McCarthy Zurbay began ski racing at age six and is coached by Jess Hasslau and Charley Stocker. She attends the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy, combining daily on-snow training with academic studies. Eligible for senior competition since age 16, she races on the FIS circuit and recorded three top-12 finishes at the 2024 US Junior National Championships.
