BIOGRAPHY

Ben Healy finished 10th in the men’s road race at the 2024 Paris Games, after being in contention for a medal deep in to the race.

He grew up near Birmingham and qualifies for Ireland through his Cork grandparents.

In 2019 he became the youngest ever winner of a stage at the Tour de l’Avenir, and in 2021 won a stage of the ‘Baby Giro.’

The two-time Irish champion joined World Tour team EF Education in 2021. In his breakout year of 2023, he won the GP Industria & Artigianato, a stage at Coppi e Bartali and was second to Tadej Pogačar, at the Amstel Gold Race. Then came his sensational 50km breakaway to win a stage of the Giro d’Italia.
