Alice Sharpe was part of the Irish women's team pursuit squad that reduced the national record by almost six seconds and won European honours, and rode the team pursuit and madison at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where the quartet set a national record of 4:12.447 in qualifying and placed ninth.
Sharpe competed in triathlon before switching to cycling while studying at Manchester Metropolitan University, joining the elite ranks in 2018. She qualifies for Ireland through her father, who is from Belfast, and is based in Cambridge.
