Johnny McKee scored 43 goals in more than 100 caps for Ireland and won EuroHockey Championship II gold in Dublin in 2023.
He played in the men's hockey tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, his first Olympic Games, where Ireland finished tenth.
A forward, McKee made his senior international debut in 2015 and plays club hockey for Banbridge HC, winning three Irish Leagues and three Irish Senior Cups. He has played professionally in Germany's Bundesliga with Crefelder. He also won Nations Cup silver in 2022 and EuroHockey Championship II bronze in 2021. He is from Newry, County Down.
