BIOGRAPHY

Tim Cross played for both Australia and Ireland, winning eight caps for Australia in 2015 and 2016 including at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and the Trans-Tasman Trophy, before switching allegiance.

He played in the men's hockey tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where Ireland finished tenth.

Cross began his career at Greensborough HC and moved to Europe to play in the Netherlands' top-flight Hoofdklasse with Tilburg. His switch to Ireland required a mandatory three-year international absence, and he made his Irish debut in 2019 against Scotland. He relocated to Belfast to play for Annadale before moving to London in 2023 to join Hampstead and Westminster HC. He grew up in Eaglemont, Melbourne.
