Philip Doyle won bronze in the men's double sculls at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games alongside Daire Lynch.
A two-time Olympian, he made his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 in the double sculls with Ronan Byrne, placing tenth. With Byrne he had won World Championship silver in 2019.
Doyle and Lynch took bronze at the 2023 World Rowing Championships, and in the season leading to the Games won gold and bronze at World Cup level.
He took up rowing in 2014 while studying medicine at Queen's University Belfast. He is from Banbridge, County Down, and rows with Belfast Boat Club.
