BIOGRAPHY
Super skilful player who led Newtown to shock Banbridge Academy by winning their first All-Ireland schools’ title in 2018, but injury slowed his progress and has had two knee operations in the last three years. Didn’t make the squad for Ireland’s Olympic qualifying tournament in Valencia in January but, after getting a late call-up as an injury replacement turned out to be our top-scorer. Notably one of his three goals came in the thriller against Korea which clinched the spot in Paris. A graduate of Sustainable Energy Engineering from TU Dublin he will turn 24 during the Olympic Games.
