BIOGRAPHY
Erin Creighton was a travelling reserve for Ireland’s women’s track cycling team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games – part of the first Irish women’s track cycling team to qualify for the Olympics.
She grew up in an outdoors-loving family and began cycling from an early age, following her twin brothers into mountain biking as a teenager before progressing to road racing at 15 and track cycling from 2021. She represented Ireland at junior European and World Championships before stepping into the senior women’s team pursuit squad in 2024 following the retirement of Emily Kay. She took a year out from studying Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast to focus on Olympic qualification. She attended Antrim Primary School and Antrim Grammar School. She was 20 years old at the time of the Games.
