BIOGRAPHY

Paddy McGrath competed in the men’s hammer throw at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, finishing 41st in the qualifying round with a throw of 67.00 metres.

A hammer thrower of considerable national standing, he had previously qualified for the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1998 with a throw of 66.25 metres and was a regular competitor on the European circuit.
