BIOGRAPHY

Finn Lynch was World Under-19 champion in 2014 and won silver at the World Youth Championships in 2012.

He made his Olympic debut in the men's one-person dinghy at Rio 2016 at 20, finishing 32nd, and finished tenth in the ILCA 7 at Paris 2024.

Lynch began sailing on Blessington Lakes at eight and has trained full time since completing his Leaving Certificate. He has lived in Carlow since he was two, and is from Bennekerry.
