BIOGRAPHY

Alice Sharpe competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as part of the women’s team pursuit squad in track cycling. Born in Munich and raised in Cambridge, she qualifies through her father from Belfast.

Sharpe initially competed in triathlon before switching to cycling while studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. She joined the elite ranks in 2018 and has been part of the team pursuit squad that reduced the Irish record by almost six seconds and won European Championship bronze in 2021.

A two-time national road race champion (2019, 2022), she also competes professionally on the road and track.
