BIOGRAPHY
Felix English represented Ireland in the men’s Madison event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics alongside teammate Mark Downey.
Both of Felix’s parents are from Dublin and he began his cycling career with notable success, winning five British junior titles before choosing to represent Ireland in 2010.
He gained international attention at the 2010 European Track Championships by defeating multiple Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy in the sprint event’s first round.
English achieved significant results in his career, including winning the National Criterium Championship in 2012 and securing victories at the Otley Grand Prix and The Milk Race in 2013. On the track, he earned gold in the Madison at the 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Los Angeles and won the Scratch race at the 2019 World Cup in Glasgow.
