BIOGRAPHY

Saskia Tidey competed in the 49er FX class at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games alongside Andrea Brewster and later at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games representing Great Britain.

Raised in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, Tidey developed her sailing through the Irish dinghy racing circuit before competing internationally. She switched to compete for Great Britain following Rio 2016 due to the lack of a suitable partner in Ireland for the 49er FX class.

She has competed at World and European Championships at senior level.
