Andrea Brewster competed in the 49er FX class at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games alongside Saskia Tidey.

Brewster is from Belfast and developed her sailing career through the Irish dinghy racing circuit, progressing to international competition in the 470 class.

She represented Ireland in the women’s two-person dinghy event at the Rio Games and has competed at World and European Championships in the discipline.
