BIOGRAPHY

The ‘Bandon Bullet’ has been one of the key figures in driving up the standard of Irish women’s sprinting over the past decade.

Phil Healy was part of the women’s 4 x 400m relay team that captured the hearts of the nation when they finished 4th in the women’s final at the Paris 2024 Games with a new national record time of 3:19:90.

Healy was also part of the mixed 4x400m who made history by making an Olympic final in Tokyo.

As an individual, Health was fourth in a European Junior 100m final in 2013, was twice a 200m finalist at World Student Games, and made the European Semi-finals in 2018, before qualifying for her first Olympics in 2020 at both 200m and 400m.
