BIOGRAPHY

Conor Ferguson represented Ireland at the 2024 Paris Olympics, competing in the men’s 4x100m medley relay alongside teammates Shane Ryan, Max McCusker, and Darragh Greene. The team finished 11th in the heats, setting a new national record with a time of 3:33.81.

Ferguson has a distinguished junior career, earning silver medals in the 100m backstroke at the 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival, the 2016 European Junior Championships, and the 2017 World Junior Championships. He also secured a silver in the 50m backstroke at the 2017 European Juniors.

At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, representing Northern Ireland, Ferguson reached the finals in both the 50m and 100m backstroke events, finishing 5th and 8th respectively.
