BIOGRAPHY
Willie Ryan competed in the coxed four at the Montreal 1976 Olympic Games and in the coxless pair at the Moscow 1980 Olympic Games.
Ryan was part of the Garda Síochána Boat Club and represented Ireland across multiple boat classes from 1975 to 1984.
He won at Henley Royal Regatta on three occasions (1975, 1977 and 1979).
