BIOGRAPHY

Born in Bristol but with grandparents from Meath and Cavan, Chay was recruited through the IQ (Irish-qualified) programme. He scored three tries in four games to help Ireland’s U20s win a Six Nations Grand Slam in 2022, when he was also brought to South Africa as part of an Emerging Ireland team. Part of the team that won a historic bronze at the Sevens World Cup in 2022, he already has 83 games on the World Series (35 this year,) and recently signed a pro contract with Connacht for 2024-2025.
