BIOGRAPHY
Jack Kelly represented Ireland in Rugby Sevens at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
In Tokyo, Ireland finished 10th. In Paris, Kelly featured in all six of Ireland’s fixtures at the Stade de France as Ireland finished sixth.
Kelly retired from the sevens programme after the tournament.
Kelly made his Ireland Sevens debut at the 2019 London Sevens and went on to score 35 tries in 157 appearances for Ireland. He also won bronze at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town. Ireland qualified for Paris 2024 by winning the 2023 European Games in Krakow.
Kelly balanced his rugby career with academic study, graduating with a law degree from Trinity College Dublin. His younger brother Ed also represented Ireland in Sevens.
