BIOGRAPHY

Jessica Chesney-Kürten competed in the individual and team showjumping at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the 2004 Athens Games.

Chesney was the leading Irish performer at the 1994 World Equestrian Games and was one of the four selected riders who had contributed to Ireland’s world number one team ranking at the end of the 1995 season.

She was one of the Irish team’s most consistent performers in Atlanta, producing fine rounds in both team rounds – 8.5 faults in the first and 4 faults in the second.

Ireland finished 8th overall in the team competition.
