BIOGRAPHY

Aoife Clark was a member of the Ireland equestrian team that won a silver medal at the 2025 European Eventing Championships at Blenheim Palace – Ireland’s first team medal in thirty years.

She competed at the 2012 London and 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

At London 2012, she finished 7th individually, the highest placing ever achieved by an Irish eventer at the Olympic Games.

She also won both the Blenheim and Bramham Horse Trials, becoming the first Irish rider to win each event, and received a Sportswoman of the Year nomination in 2013.

Following a few quieter years where she concentrated on selling horses abroad and having her son Paddy, Aoife Clark returned to top level competition and was selected for the Paris 2024 Games less than a year after a serious arm fracture that required extensive surgical repair.

She studied Mathematics at University College Dublin.
