BIOGRAPHY

Kenneth Egan won a silver medal in the light heavyweight division at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Egan is from Clondalkin, Dublin and started his boxing career with his local club, Neilstown Boxing Club. At Beijing 2008 he progressed to the final with victories over opponents from China, Cuba and France before claiming silver in one of Ireland’s standout performances at those Games.

He won bronze at the World Championships and gold at the European Union Championships, as well as multiple national titles.
