BIOGRAPHY

Tommy Reddy competed in the men’s boxing at the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games alongside his brother Ando Reddy – the first brothers to represent Ireland at the same Olympic Games. The Reddy brothers were part of a boxing team that included John McNally, Terry Milligan and Peter Crotty among its eight members. Tommy Reddy’s bout was stopped in the second round by his Yugoslav opponent Stevan Redli, after making three visits to the canvas.
