BIOGRAPHY

Michael Conlan won the bronze medal in the flyweight division at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Conlan is from Belfast and developed his career through the amateur system with St John Bosco Boxing Club, establishing himself as one of Ireland’s leading boxers.

He also competed at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games where he narrowly missed out on a medal in a highly publicised and controversial decision.

Conlon won gold at the World Championships in 2015 and multiple European titles before turning professional.
