Patricia Donegan (later Ryan) competed in the individual and team eventing at two Olympic Games – Sydney 2000 and Beijing 2008.

She is married to Michael Ryan, who also competed in individual eventing at the London 2012 Olympics, making them one of the few Irish married couples to have both competed for Ireland at the Olympic Games. Together they ran Donegan Ryan Eventing in Bandon, Co. Cork.
