BIOGRAPHY
Sasha Harrison represented Ireland in the individual and team eventing at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, riding All Love du Fenaud.
From Craigavon, Co. Armagh, Harrison worked as a beautician while pursuing her equestrian career and trained with British eventing legend Rodney Powell at his yard outside Lambourn. A member of Ireland’s gold medal-winning team at the 1995 European Young Rider Championships in Achselschwang, she built steadily towards senior championship level – finishing 5th and best of the Irish at Punchestown in 1998, reaching 12th at the 1999 European Championships at Luhmuhlen on her senior championship debut, and earning consistent Nations Cup results that helped underpin her Olympic selection.
She had bought All Love du Fenaud from former British Olympic rider Richard Walker.
