BIOGRAPHY

Hugo Lennox represented Ireland in Rugby Sevens at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Ireland finished 10th in Tokyo and sixth in Paris. Lennox made his Ireland Sevens debut in 2018 and was part of the squad that qualified for Tokyo 2020 by winning the repechage tournament in Monaco in June 2021. A half-back, he is a product of Skerries Community School and Skerries RFC, and has also played All-Ireland League rugby with Clontarf.

Lennox was part of the Ireland squad that won bronze at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town, and his two tries in the Hong Kong leg of the 2023/24 SVNS Series helped Ireland claim a bronze medal, contributing to back-to-back podium finishes at that tournament.

Away from rugby, Lennox holds a degree in Business and Management from Maynooth University and works in real estate.
