BIOGRAPHY

Conor Harte competed in the men’s hockey tournament at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Harte was raised in Ballinspittle near Kinsale, County Cork and began his hockey career at Bandon Grammar School before playing for Cork Harlequins and Pembroke Wanderers.

He has represented Ireland internationally since 2006, earning over 250 caps and scoring regularly from penalty corners. He was part of the Ireland team that won bronze at the 2015 EuroHockey Championships and has competed at the Hockey World Cup, while also playing professionally in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Conor’s twin brother David is also a hockey Olympian.
